Embed Your Video on Your School Webpage

1)  Copy (cmd-C) the embed code from your youtube video.

2)  Log into the website admin area and navigate to your page.

3)   In the example below, we want the video to go below the words “Kindergarten Alphabet.”

Look for the place in your page where you want to add your video, then click the HTML tab.

4) A quick way to find your bearings within the HTML is to type cmd-F to bring up the find box, then type in your desired words.  For this example, we use “Kindergarten Alphabet.”

You will see the word get highlighted on the page as you type it into the find box.  We want the video under the words “Kindergarten Alphabet,” so put the cursor underneath those words and paste (cmd-V) your embed code.  Hit “Save.”

5)  It will take you back to the content editing screen where you can see the video is embedded and move the video around the page if necessary.  If you move the video to a new location on the page, click Save when finished.

6)  Click the “View Page on Site” link to see your live page.

7)  That’s it!
